   RECENT PERFORMANCES


 Wedding at Masonic Lodge: Shasta, CA
Keyboard on December 17th, 2011
Kay celebrated the mostly-Mozart wedding with Mozart, Handel, and Scarlatti.


 CA State Historic Park: Annual "Holiday in the Parks"
Saturday, December 3rd, 2011; 11AM - 1PM
Kay began with piano music--a performance of Christmas carols (arr. by David Lanz) and Mozart Piano Sonatas. Kay performed on the historic square piano in the Museum's Art Gallery. Afterwards, the ARS Redding Chapter presented a Christmas and holiday program in the Courthouse Museum.


   Shasta County Library Concert Series: Redding, CA
Recorder concert on February 1st, 2011; 6PM

 
Kay presented a musical and historical tour of recorder music. Selections for solo recorder were drawn from the Medieval period, Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic transcriptions, with a grand finale of modern Celtic and Iberian arrangements.

Kay performed on behalf of the Daughters of the British Empire with recorder music from England.


  2005:
Shasta Highlands Renaissance and Celtic Faire: April 30-May 1, 2005; Anderson River Park (Anderson, CA).
Kay participated in the Faire in 2005. Kay played English Renaissance music, English country dances, and Irish music.

On Sunday, Kay celebrated the sacred side of the Renaissance by playing hymns from the Anglican hymnal. Many of these tunes were written during the Renaissance.
